Our 2006 Jayco Greyhawk 31SS RV (Class C, 31 ft.) is family owned, clean, and well maintained. It's easy to use and drive, the perfect vehicle for both beginners and experienced RV'ers. Cab
A Ford 6.8L Super Duty V10 gasoline powered engine provides great power and a smooth ride for this 31-foot coach. The automatic transmission with overdrive and cruise control and the Air Assist suspension makes traveling down the highway a breeze. With Leather seats and 4 cup holders in the cab, you will be driving comfortably with the in-dash AC, AM/FM/CD player, power windows and locks, and both driver and passenger airbags. At night a windshield curtain secures around the inside of the cab for additional privacy in the coach. A rear view camera in the cab makes it much easier to change lanes, back up and park.
Master Rear Bedroom
The private master bedroom with a queen walk around bed can be closed off from the rest of the living areas. You will enjoy plenty of closet space, watching the bedroom 13” TV (included), and his and hers reading lights.
Additional Sleeping
The motor home sleeps 8 (6 adults comfortably or 4 adults and 4 children) with the cab over queen bed (with 4 additional cubbies for kids stuff) and the sofa and dinette converted to beds. Sofa and dinette "beds" are best suited for children (and adults under 5'6").
Living Area
You will feel right at home, kicking back on the sofa, watching the 26” TV/RADIO/DVD (with remote and 5 speaker surround sound system). A remote control thermostat controls the furnace and air conditioner, so you will be comfortable day and night. The coach has a TV antenna and cable connections so you won’t miss your favorite shows, or the kids can wind down at the end of the day with a movie. The power slide-out opens up the main living area to make food preparation, eating and relaxing with the family very easy and enjoyable. Open the day/night shades to view the scenery as you drive to or from your camp. Draw the Day shades and you'll get privacy with out sacrificing the natural sunlight. Drawing the night shades not only continues to provide privacy, but are similar to "black-out" curtains. There are 4 additional cabinets above the dinette set and sofa for dry food, games, etc.
Kitchen
You will have all the comforts of home with the microwave oven, 3-burner stove, oven, fridge, freezer, Built-in coffee maker, double sink, cutting board, pull-out counter top extension and a 4 person dinette table.
Bathroom
The bathroom has a great privacy feature which will allow for showers and vanity use while closed off from the rest of the unit (open to master bedroom). You can also offer complete shower/vanity privacy from the front and back of the unit (see floor plan). The bathroom has a built-in power roof vent, mirror, towel rack, sink, toilet and plenty of medicine cabinet storage. The shower has a towel rack built in the top for wet clothes, bathing suits, etc.
Outside
You won't be roughing it while you listen to your favorite music on the outdoor AM/FM/CD stereo music center. There is also a 120-volt power receptacle with a cable TV connection (TV not included) and patio light right outside your door. The large 16’ awning can easily be extended to provide shade. For the outdoor chef, food preparation on the propane Barbeque can be easily connected to the coach’s propane system and they don't affect using any of the coach's other indoor propane appliances.
Utility
A quiet generator is on board to provide you alternative power if you are not connected to power. The exterior lighted storage compartments will give you plenty of room to put your small, medium, and long items. An outdoor shower comes in handy when the kids or sand toys need a quick rinse. 39gal of fresh water is available when you are not directly connected to a tap. A 32gal black water tank is large enough for a family of 4 to last about 4 days. A 44gal grey will handle most of the regular kitchen and bathroom chores, but for more than one or two quick showers, you should directly connect to a waste drain. Large storage lockers under the coach can be locked while you are away from the coach.
Safety
You will be kept safe with the, LP Leak Alarm, smoke detector, and fire extinguisher. There are safety blocks to keep the coach from moving as well as leveling blocks. There are also 9 seat belts on board (3 in the couch, 4 in the dinette table and 2 in the drivers cab).
Storage
With almost 27 c.f. of exterior storage, it will handle almost anything. There is a large pass through storage at the rear of the coach, as well as 2 smaller storage cabinets on the canopy side of the coach. This will easily handle chairs, Ez-ups, fishing equipment and more.
