Cost New? = $272,000.00 – way back in 1994.
The cabinets are of OAK: REAL OAK. All the interior panels are solid oak, too. The large closet interior is Cedar!
The Kitchen Counter, Dining Table, stove, sink covers and Bath countertop are CORIAN. The kitchen double sink is Stainless. There is a thermostatically controlled fan over the kitchen for venting. The new Dometic Refrigerator can be kept kool by Propane OR 12V OR 120V. The Hot H2O heater can be heated by Propane OR 120V OR auto from the engine when it’s running. (Like on the big Yachts)
The Driver’s and Co-pilots seats are Leather covered, are electric 8-way adjustable, and swivel to face the interior when you’re parked and have lots of company!
The Chassis is custom made Uni-Home chassis made by Foretravel: It is a complete single unit welded chassis, all the way to and around the ceiling. And all the coach exterior is fiberglass.!
The running gear is also built by Foretravel: A Cummins 275hp Turbo- Diesel engine (C8.3), Allison 6speed transmission and Extarder (engine/trans braking), full size OTR truck tires & alloy wheels. And the MONSTER disk brakes can really bring the rig (even fully loaded) to a halt in a screaming, screeching hurry! (ask me, I know!) It has the 8 air bag suspension system (nice on the road, doesn’t beat you up like a truck chassis does) with HWH self-levelling when you park.
The Island Queen bed is ever so comfortable for a long winter’s nap: and the two furnaces and two House air conditioners keep the temperature just where you want it – winter or summer! And a Makeup area at the front of the bed with lights.
The wall to wall carpeting is sea foam green, and the furniture and heavy, lined curtains are desert dawn rose. Windows also have day shades.
Systems: The 2 TV’s share a pair of antennas: (local and satellite), a VCR player, and full switching of all the above. The front TV also is wired (by us) with a Panasonic DVD / CD 5 channel home theater system. The CB system has Remote Mic Head and remote speaker over the dash. The Monitor system in the dash not only is the rear camera, but monitors the coach electric, propane, fresh, gray and septic tank levels, and has a compass and thermometer built in. Oh: and the tanks: Propane is 80Gal, Fresh H2O - 105 gallons, Grey - 100 gallons, and Black - 50 Gallons. Diesel fuel capacity is 150 gallons. This rig has an upgraded Diesel ONAN 10KW genset : (That’ll power the whole rock band!! Batteries: it has 2 heavy-duty Gel-Cel 8D house batteries, and a pair of 12Volt engine batteries: all are within a year old. It also has an inverter system capable of running up to 3000Watts of electronics off of the batteries! All the wiring in this rig is single wire, point-to-point! The manuals, (including several full size fold out electrical schematics) with the rig take up over a foot of shelf space!
There is a full basement with slide-out Joey bed.
