2002 NEWELL 40’ mid entry, walk in rear closet with washer/dryer, double slide-out, 3 roof airs, new in motion satellite, white leather wall panels and tan/burgundy designer carpets. GE microwave, garbage disposal, Amana 25’ side by side with ice and water in door, desk with Euro recliner, Detroit 60–500hp, 20 KW generator, Garrard electric main awning, keyless entry system, Gaggeneau cook top, electric shore power cord reel, color rear monitor, two Joey beds, Aqua-Hot system, central vacuum, 32” Television in living room, 20” Television in bedroom. Batteries replaced in April 07. Annual service completed at Newell in May 08. Service records available at Newell factory service. The mileage is 82,600. When we went over 70,000 the mileage/galloon increase as the engine just broke in. I have met people with more than 500,000 miles on a Detroit 60 with no issues. The interior is perfect with no issues. There have been 6 40’ units built since 2002, one was wrecked, so now there are only 5. This is a great unit based on layout and storage. In most units the bath is next to the bed. In our unit the bath is across from the bed. We have a walk in closet with 12’ of pole storage plus 6 large pull out drawers and two large storage cabinets.
