| 2000 Itasca Suncruiser 32V Description |
2000 Itasca Suncruiser 32V, made by Winnebago, identical to the Adventurer model except for the front grill. Ford V-10 Triton engine. Optional 20,500# GVWR... not 18,000 like most of this model. It has over 4200# NCC, plus whatever you tow. I have not found another gas motorhome in this class that can carry as much. That's a big safety benefit. See the weight sheet. Very good condition. Clean CARFAX. Non-smoker(as far as I can tell). This was our first experience with a motorhome. We bought this 16 months ago, and have traveled about 12,000 miles and about 100 nites, loving it all, even touring the Winnebago factory in Iowa! Now we have purchased another Winnebago, newer, bigger, better, so it's time for the Suncruiser to go. This one is ready to drive cross-country immediately, as I've brought it into good repair. Here's what I know about this Suncruiser. The engine and trans perform great, doesn't burn oil. Brakes and exhaust are in good shape. Tires are Goodyears, I would estimate about 75% tread left, no sidewall cracking or crazing apparent. Very little rust underneath. Exterior is slightly faded(it's eight years old). Some delamination both sides rear above beltline(see pics, common on Winnebagos). Windshield in good condition, no cracks. Double-pane windows. No apparent wrecks. Roof is good condition, fiberglass, and was resealed last year. Two power vents with MaxxAir vent covers. Front bumper has some chips from rocks, and minor rash around lower sides. Fiberglass on rear bumper corners and w/h door have been repaired and painted. Right rear metal corner trim dented up high has been painted(see pics). Optional patio awning in good condition. No leaks inside, now or ever that I can tell. We do have a dog that travels with us. Carpet and upholstery have been shampooed. All upholstery and window shades(one stained under coffee maker) in very good condition, no cuts or tears. One mis-matched drawer face(see pics). Kitchen counter has cracked in front of sink(see pic, I've seen many Winnebagos cracked in this area). Gas/elect refrig, stove and cooktop, and microwave all work well. 30 amp electric works well. Generator runs well, about 1260 hours. Solar panel battery charger. All plumbing works well. Water heater is optional 10 gal Gas/elect/Motoraid. Dump valves have been replaced and upgraded to 2001 and newer design(see pic, more reliable, no cables). Basement furnace and A/C work well(no leaks or condensation draining down roof and sides). KVH Trackvision LF in-motion satellite dish, and DirecTV receiver. Sony back-up cam. CB and newer Sony AM/FM/CD with input for satellite radio or other gadgets. Optional outdoor entertainment center.
